Firefox 2 Search Engine Code Generator

Enter a name for your search engine - it should be fairly short. Most punctuation is allowed. (example: English Wikipedia Search)

Enter a description of your search engine. (example: Searches for information on Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. )
Description:

Enter the encoding which the site uses. This will usually be UTF-8. If unsure, just leave it as it is.
Encoding:

Enter the page on the site which does the searching. There is an easy way to find this out: go to the website, and search for anything (it doesn't matter what. When you look at the URL, everything before the first question mark is the search location. (example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search)
Search Location:

Enter the search parameter whioch the search location uses. To find this search for something such as "Clamburger". Look in the URL, and there should be something like "...&search=Clamburger" in it. In this case, the search parameter would be "search". This parameter may not have the word "search" in it or even anything remotely like it, so look closely.
Search Parameter:

Enter the website which the search engine is for. This will generally be the main page. (example: http://en.wikipedia.org)
Website:

Enter the location of a small 16x16 image that will be beside the search box when your search engine is selected - the location must be an image on the Internet. Most image types are supported. This step is optional.
Icon:
